Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) and HPV S.A. announced the opening of Hyatt Place Santiago/Vitacura in the city of Santiago, Chile. The opening marks the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Santiago and introduces the Hyatt Place brand to Chile and the South American continent.
Housed inside Denver's 120-year-old station, which just completed a dramatic $54 million transformation, Crawford guests are met by a hotel ambassador who will check them in on an iPad. The stately Denver Union Station Great Hall - which features soaring 65-foot ceilings and houses an eclectic mix of 13 Colorado restaurants and retailers - will serve as the hotel's main entrance and lobby.
The six-story, 113-room hotel also includes 49 suites, a business center, indoor swimming pool with waterslide, and a large meeting space for up to 160 people appropriate for both weddings and corporate meetings.
