Officials of Marshall Hotels & Resorts, Inc. announced that the company closed out 2011 by signing six new contracts in December, bringing the total number of new assignments for the year to 19 and increasing its total managed portfolio to 62 properties.

The properties, owned by several different groups, include the Comfort Inn Manhattan Bridge; The Madison Hotel, Morristown, N.J.; Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Manhattan/Chelsea; Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Brooklyn; and Best Western Prospect Park Hotel.

Officials of Marshall Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced that Shaun Burchard, CHA, has joined the company as executive vice president. In his new position, Burchard initially will be responsible for reinvigorating the company's sales and marketing, and increasing asset value.

Officials of Marshall Hotels & Resorts announced that it added four experienced regional directors to its management team to enhance both operations and sales and marketing efforts.

Officials of Marshall Hotels & Resorts, Inc., a leading, Maryland-based hotel management and services company, today announced the promotions of Ben Seidel to chief operating officer, Michael Getzey to president of the company's newly formed construction and renovation division, and David Harvill to executive vice president of accounting.

Maryland-based Marshall Management is now Marshall Hotels & Resorts, Inc. In addition, the company announced that it has moved to new, larger headquarters in Salisbury, Maryland.

Marshall Management, Inc. announced the appointment of Jim Bokosky as regional director of operations and the promotions of Jeff Lattinville to regional director of sales and marketing and Dave Douglas to regional director of operations.
