Hotel Nikko Saigon, a new five-star addition to the Nikko Hotels International group, will open December 18th and is now accepting reservations. The hotel, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is the second Nikko Hotels property after Hotel Nikko Hanoi, opened in August, 1998.

JAL Hotels operates eight hotels in China, in Beijing (two properties), Shanghai, Dalian, Tianjin, Suzhou, Wuxi and Hong Kong, and plans to open hotels in Guangzhou and Suzhou, China in 2013.

JAL Hotels Co., Ltd., today announced that a new 443-room hotel in Xiamen, China, will be added to Nikko Hotels International, its luxury international hotel group, in Spring 2011. Hotel Nikko Xiamen is one of four new Nikko Hotels properties being built in China. These new hotels will bring the total number of Nikko Hotels in China to nine.

After renovation of its 202 guest rooms, its restaurants and public spaces, Hotel Royal Taipei, one of the Nikko Hotels International group of luxury hotels, will reopen on September 18th. The newly remodeled facilities will be unveiled just in time for the hotel to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

JAL Hotels Co., Ltd., which operates Nikko Hotels International, a group of luxury hotels, and Hotel JAL City, a mid-priced business hotel chain in Japan, announced at its annual shareholders meeting and board of directors meeting today the appointment of Katsumi Chiyo as president and CEO. He will succeed Mamoru Tsutsumi.
