Starwood continues its expansion in Latin America with the signing of the new Sheraton Reserva do Paiva Hotel and Convention Center, due to open in Q1 2014
The 40-story, 730-room hotel built in 1980 is set to immediately undergo a $13 million renovation to implement all of the Sheraton brand’s signature offerings.
Nine of the new resorts will open in China, and the other will open in Indonesia. With these new additions, Sheraton will boast the largest portfolio of resorts under one brand in the four and five star category.

The Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort, located in Nassau, The Bahamas, is pleased to announce the appointments of Glenn Sampert as general manager and Steven White as hotel manager. With more than 40 years of collective experience in various segments of the hospitality industry, Sampert and White will work together to reposition the resort as part of the anticipated new Baha Mar development.
