Concord Hospitality Enterprises announced that the company has committed $355 million in active development on 15 hotels in 2012 and expects to reach the 14,000 room threshold as a third-party operator and owner.

Concord Hospitality Enterprises, Inc. announced the sale of a portfolio of four Marriott-branded hotels located in Ontario, Canada to Genesis Hospitality, a Manitoba-based private investment group.

On track to invest nearly $18.5 million this year in hotel renovations in four states and Canada. In addition, the company has acquired a 32,000 square-foot office building outside of Wake Forest, N.C., that it plans to convert into its world headquarters facility, bringing the company’s total spend in 2011 to nearly $25 million.

It is the company’s first DoubleTree by Hilton brand hotel and its second managed property in Virginia.

Concord Hospitality Enterprises today announced it has signed contracts to manage a record 18 hotels year to date and is fast approaching its goal of being ranked one of the 10 largest U.S. hotel management companies. The company's portfolio now exceeds 75 hotels.
