T.G.I. Friday's Restaurants Introduces Nine New Menu Items |

T.G.I. Friday's restaurants announced the addition of nine new menu items including five entrees and a new appetizer, soup, sandwich and dessert, to its menu. |
"At T.G.I. Friday's, we are fanatical about giving our guests the most compelling food and beverage choices," said Mike Archer, president and chief operating officer of T.G.I. Friday's USA. "The new menu additions offer more choices and more new flavors for everyone. We constantly update our menu to give our guests the chance to experience the newest of bold flavor trends in a fun, high energy environment."
The five new entrees include: Lobster Tortelloni (lobster and cheese-filled tortelloni tossed in a rich lobster bisque topped with lobster meat, fresh Roma tomatoes, basil and Parmesan shavings), Parmesan-Crusted Chicken, a Right Portion, Right Price entree, (sauteed chicken breast basted with Caesar dressing, then finished with a Parmesan-crust topping and served with three-cheese tortelloni tossed in spinach Alfredo sauce and a side of fresh tomato mozzarella salad), Southwestern Mahi Mahi (fire-grilled 6-oz. fillet of mild, yet flavorful Mahi Mahi, served over savory rice, with corn salsa and broccoli florets and topped with pico de gallo and zesty Chipotle sauce), Al's Fish Tacos (three flour tortillas filled with crispy nacho-crusted tilapia, shredded lettuce, corn salsa and creamy lemon dill remoulade sauce and served with a side of tortilla chips and salsa) and Chicken Tostada Salad (shredded Romaine lettuce, corn salsa and mixed cheese tossed with avocado Chipotle ranch dressing, topped with Ancho honey-glazed chicken breast, pineapple pico de gallo and crispy corn tortilla chips).
Friday's also announced the addition of a new appetizer, soup, sandwich and dessert. Ancho Chile Wings (buffalo wings tossed in Ancho honey-glaze and served with a side of Green Chile sour cream sauce) are the newest addition to Friday's appetizer menu. And in case guests are in the mood to warm up, Friday's added White Chicken Chili (white chili made with all white meat chicken, white beans and spices, topped with melted Monterey Jack cheese). The new menu additions also include the California Club Sandwich (mesquite smoked turkey breast, crispy bacon, ham and Monterey Jack cheese stacked on toasted Ciabatta bread with tomatoes, shredded Romaine lettuce, avocado and mayonnaise and served with fries) and Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie (peanut butter graham cracker crust filled with layers of chocolate ganache and fluffy peanut butter mousse topped with whipped cream and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups(TM)).
