Econo Lodge Moriarty, N.M. Opens |

MORIARTY, N.M. (March 11, 2003) – A 29-unit Econo Lodge hotel, located on historic Route 66 West (off Exit 194 of I-40) in Moriarty, the gateway to the Salt Mission Trail, is now open. |
The Econo Lodge hotel, formerly the Luxury Inn, is owned and operated by Parvati, LLC.
The exterior of the Econo Lodge and guest rooms were recently renovated. The entire hotel was painted and guest rooms were remodeled with a new décor, draperies, bedspreads, flooring and lighting. Econo Lodge senior rooms were also added, featuring brighter lighting, large button telephones and television remote controls, lever handles on doors and faucets, alarm clocks with large, easy-to-read numbers, coffee makers and grab bars in the bathrooms.
The Econo Lodge hotel features spacious rooms with one or two queen size beds. Each guest room includes a 25-inch cable TV with HBO and telephone with data port. Some rooms feature a microwave and refrigerator. Non-smoking rooms and rooms for individuals with disabilities are also available.
Hotel features include a comfortable lobby, breakfast area and interior corridors.
Rates include free continental breakfast of donuts, cereal, toast, juice, coffee, tea and milk, free local telephone calls and a 100 percent guest satisfaction guarantee.
Discounts are available when booked in advance for seniors, American Automobile Association members, business travelers, government and military personnel and groups.
Children, ages 18 and under, stay for free when staying in the room of a parent or grandparent.
Econo Lodge hotels participate in EA$Y CHOICE, a frequent traveler promotion that offers guests free lodging or frequent flier miles from participating airlines. From Feb. 15 through April 30, members of American Airlines AAdvantage, Delta SkyMiles, Northwest Airlines WorldPerks, US Airways Dividend Miles, United Mileage Plus and Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards can receive triple airline miles or credits when staying at the Econo Lodge, or 450 miles per stay instead of the standard 150 miles. Members of the Southwest Rapid Rewards Program will receive 1.5 credits instead of the usual 0.5 credit.
The Econo Lodge hotel, located at 1316 Route 66 West, is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The Moriarty Museum and Moriarty Civic Center are a mile or less from the hotel. Also nearby are Soar Sundance and Gliber Flights (2 miles), Wildlife West Nature Park (7 miles), Cline's Corner (15 miles) and Turquoise Trail, Tinkertown and Cibola National Forest (20 miles). Pakoo Ridge Golf course is 30 miles from the hotel. Old town Albuquerque is 25 miles away and Santa Fe is 55 miles from the hotel .
