kudos + other tips to delight women travellers
Astute advice, Brenda. As a speaker who travels 3 - 6 times a month, I would add:
• A hair dryer that is not attached to the wall, and has a "cool" button function is my favorite.
• A magnifying mirror for make-up would be lovely - and several male friends have mentioned that they, too, appreciatei t for shaving too.
• Option of foam or feather/down pillows. I prefer down.
• Coffeemaker with good quality coffee, such as Starbucks
• Some hotels have a bowl of apples at check-in, when our hands are full. I\'m delighted to find a crisp, fresh apple in my room - a much-appreciated "we care!" extra touch, especially since it is an all-day snack. Arriving late after room service is closed I enjoy this "dinner."
By the way, I discovered your excellent web site and this article by you via one of your fans, Dan Parks at MeCo.
And I've consulted with hotels (and sports arenas, hospitals & other businesses that provide a consumer experience) on how to conduct an Exposures Audit, to storyboard more positively memorable moments and to reduce the negative or boring ones and increase the positive.
