American Skiing Company deploys Datavision’s Budgeting & Forecasting Module

  • Datavision Technologies One of America’s largest operators of ski and golf resorts successfully streamlines forecasting process enterprise-wide

    Datavision Technologies, the premier vendor for data warehousing and business intelligence systems for the hospitality industry, recently rolled out their Budgeting & Forecasting Module across American Skiing Company – at seven resorts and the corporate office. Used in conjunction with Datavision’s Revenue Management Module, the Budgeting & Forecasting module enables the hotels to seamlessly integrate data from PMS and General Ledger systems into a single data warehouse.

    The system allows department heads at each property to forecast their areas using Excel, and provides the CFO / Controller with the ability to make top-level forecast adjustments prior to running ‘instant’ Profit and Loss statements. In addition, data is synchronized between the properties and corporate, enabling corporate users to run consolidated reports for the entire company.
