To preserve the large investment The Fairmont Banff Springs made in hardware, the MICROS 9700 HMS was installed on the existing IBM 4695 terminals, replacing the legacy software. With the addition of NetVupoint, the MICROS 9700 HMS real-time web-based reporting solution, Fairmont will have visibility of guest movements throughout the property and will be able to track trends. These added capabilities, in addition to the tight integration with MICROS OPERA, made the MICROS 9700 HMS the natural choice for Fairmont's next generation, advanced point-of-sale system.
