• The Gran Salón Andalucía at the NH Convention Centre will be able to hold up to nine hundred people and will be 8 meters high
• The Hotel NH Central will have the first "nhube" in the capital of Andalucia. This will be the chain's fifth "nhube"
At the beginning of 2005 NH Hoteles will open the NH Convention Centre and two hotels: NH Central Convenciones and NH Central, in Seville. The NH Convention Centre will be the biggest in the city centre and it will be next to the two new NH hotels right in the financial and commercial centre, very close to the most famous sites in Seville. At last a flexible, versatile, bright multi-purpose area with the capacity to hold events of any kind. NH Hoteles is consolidating an offer totalling more than 60 rooms and over 10.000 m2 for corporate events. During the first years it will be operated under a management agreement and from then on under a lease agreement. After this acquisition, NH Hoteles now has four hotels in all in the capital of Andalucia, which provide 610 rooms, and it now has eighteen hotels in Andalucia.
The NH Convention Centre is divided into three floors. The ground floor has seven separate, sound-proof rooms each with their own lighting for greater comfort, and a cafeteria. Moreover, these multi-purpose rooms can be joined together to create an open-plan area, ideal for banquets and receptions. All the rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and the Convention Centre also has: Interpreters' booths, automatic darkening system, rejter movable partitions, soundproofing, adjustable lighting, domotic controls for each of the rooms, separate electrical systems, video conferences connected to ISDN connections and everything needed to hold meetings of any kind. It has plenty of parking space and direct access for coaches.
The Salón Avenida, Salón Amistad, Salón Almenara, Salón Almería and the Salón Alanda make up the Gran Salón Andalucía, capable of holding nine hundred people in a theatre setting, nearly eight metres high. The first floor has three rooms designed for meetings or congresses that require greater privacy, a restaurant, a cafeteria and three patios for receptions.
On the top floor is the terrace, in unique surroundings, where customers can enjoy the avant-garde, elegant design of the Spa, a place to relax and rest, the swimming pool and the pergola restaurant area designed for customers and for external partners.
Furthermore, the new NH Central Convenciones 4 stars has 156 rooms, including 7 junior-suites. The rooms have all the services that are a feature of NH, such as: Direct phones, Wi-Fi connection, mini-bar, à-la-carte pillows, 24-hour room service, outdoor swimming pool, garden area and summer terrace. Also worthy of notice is its location, merely 7 minutes from the AVE railway station, near the Maria Luisa Park and with a direct way out towards the airport. The decoration is elegant and functional and the facade is modern and avant-garde.
The hotel NH Central 3 stars has 96 rooms with a particularly charming design. It is located next to the major landmarks of Seville. It is also directly connected to the NH Convention Centre.
The NH Central has the first "nhube" in Andalucia. "Nhube" is an area which is the first of its kind in the hotel industry and combines restaurant and cafeteria, leisure and relaxation services for customers, designed by NH Hoteles with Ferran Adriá. This space brings together the common areas of the lounge, bar-cafeteria and restaurant of the hotels, a multi-purpose environment where customers can watch TV, surf in the internet, eat or relax. The cuisine's offer in "nhube" is based on simple, albeit high-quality, food with noteworthy presentations.
