More than 20,000,000 Room Nights Sold since Service Launch
Priceline.com(R) (NASDAQ:PCLN) said today that it has sold a total of more than 20 million hotel room nights since launching its first Internet hotel reservation service in October 1998.
Priceline.com also said today that it now has more than 20,000 hotel properties around the world offering specially negotiated rates through priceline.com's family of hotel services - an increase of approximately 100% over a year ago. Priceline.com's hotel bookings network includes priceline.com, Travelweb LLC and Active Hotels, along with other owned and affiliated Web sites.
