Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel Announces National Sales Manager |
|
Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel has appointed Dione T. Williams as national sales manager, to work with Don Foreman, regional vice president of sales and marketing. |
Williams brings extensive hospitality experience, specifically in the sales and guest services sectors. In his new role, Williams will conduct group sales with clients in the Northeast -- a key market where many of the hotel's most valuable customers are found. He will focus on bringing group meetings to the property's 17,000 square feet of award-winning meeting space, including a chandeliered ballroom, junior ballroom, and multiple conference breakout and hospitality rooms.
"With his depth of experience and outstanding sales track record, Williams makes a great addition," said Foreman. "He has proven himself throughout his career. We feel fortunate to invite such a qualified individual to our team."
Most recently, Williams served as sales manager for Anaheim Hilton, where his work consistently exceeded quarterly goals. There, he developed and maintained corporate and association accounts on the East Coast. Prior to becoming a sales manager, Williams was director of guest services overseeing daily transportation and service operations. He also served as guest services supervisor at the San Francisco Hilton.
Williams' list of accolades includes sales "Rookie of the Year" and "Leadership Award" from Hilton Hotels Corporation. He is an active volunteer at the Children's Hospitals of Orange County and the Boys & Girls Club, and an avid member of MPI and PCMA. In his spare time, the Los Angeles native can be found playing sports.
