Hostmark Hospitality Group to Expand in Egypt |
|
Hostmark Hospitality Group has been selected by the Egyptian Ministry of Interior to operate their brand new hotel in Alexandria, scheduled to open in the fall of 2005. |
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior's selection of Hostmark for their newest property in Alexandria, the second largest city in Egypt, marks a continued trust in Hostmark's hotel business expertise, which includes its highly successful management of the Grand Seas Resort Hostmark in Hurghada.
“We are excited to build on our solid business relationship with the Egyptian Ministry of Interior and embark on this newest, most exciting property,' said Robert Cataldo, President and Chief Operating Officer of Hostmark Hospitality Group.
The hotel, located on the Mediterranean Sea just fifteen minutes from the airport, will comprise 207 rooms and 18 suites with spectacular views of the Roushdy district, an upscale area in the center of this historic city. Ideally situated near the Gardens of Montazza, Qaitbay Fort, the world-renowned Alexandria Library and the downtown area, this premium location will offer numerous museums, shopping areas and famous historical sites for the business and leisure traveler alike. A state-of-the-art fitness center, two freshwater swimming pools and a marina for fishing enthusiasts complete this ideal destination. Hostmark will oversee construction of this new property as part of its overall management responsibilities.
