Hospitality Solutions International (HSI), a division of MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCRS) and a leading software developer for the hospitality industry, has completed the installation of its Profit Series point-of-sale (POS) system at The Atlantic Hotel Condominium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The Atlantic, a Starwood Luxury Collection(R) hotel, is set amidst 23 miles of pristine sun-splashed golden beaches in the heart of Florida's Gold Coast. The Luxury Collection(R) is a group of unique hotels and resorts offering exceptional service to an elite clientele. The Atlantic is the first of its kind as a Hotel Condominium, with 124 rooms offering five-star service and amenities. All of the rooms are condominium units; the owners can either live there full time or part time, and also rent out their unit.
Thirteen POS terminals power the Profit Series point-of-sale (POS) system at the Trina Restaurant and Spuma Poolside Bar. The Profit Series software interfaces directly to Starwood's property management system, allowing for room charges to pass through the POS application directly to the guest folio.
