The city's largest lodges have welcomed at least seven new general managers to town in recent months, bringing new and returning faces into the close-knit hotel management community.
The changes come as the city's hotels look for leaders to work a tricky balance between reinvigorated room bookings and the looming threat from continued labor tensions between 14 of the city's largest hotels and their workers. In-the-trenches leadership decisions in the coming months could make the difference in keeping or losing thousands if not millions of dollars in new business.
