Hotel Bel-Air Selects Bartech Minibars for its Mobil Five-Star Luxury Hotel |

Hotel Bel-Air is installing Bartech minibars in all of its 91 rooms and suites. |
One of only 30 hotels in the U.S. to receive the coveted Mobil Five-Star Award for superlative level of service, quality, and ambience, the Hotel Bel-Air selected Bartech's minibar for its flexibility, unique design, and quiet operation.

Hotel Bel-Air will use Bartech's Silent Compressor Cooling Unit, developed through eight years of extensive research and development and now deployed in hotels around the world. The Silent Compressor offers incredibly quiet operation, very high reliability and substantial energy savings, especially when compared to absorption cooling systems that are inefficient and use potentially hazardous ammonia for cooling. It includes an electrically powered compressor that pumps a "CFC-free" refrigerant through a sealed system. Audible output is minimized to a level of 24.9 dB, well below the 31 dB ambient noise level typical of hotel rooms.
