As of May 4, 2005 a second Radisson hotel located at the south entrance, the Radisson Hotel Gateway Seattle-Tacoma Airport.
Previously, the Radisson Gateway had been known as the PRIME hotel before Carlson Companies, the parent company of Radisson, acquired the management contracts for all PRIME hotels across the country. The transition to the Radisson brand was easy and quick, giving Carlson representation at two ideal locations at the increasingly busy Seattle airport.
Formerly competitors, the two now sister hotels, recognize the many advantages in working together to better serve the business and leisure guests traveling through SeaTac. With two full service hotels, Radisson guests will now have greater opportunity to experience “Yes I Can” customer service, earn Radisson Gold Rewards points, and enjoy renowned Sleep Number Bed.
Investments have been and will continue to be made in both hotels to align themselves for the prosperous economy Seattle is enjoying. The Radisson Seattle Airport recently completed a million dollar remodel encompassing guest rooms, high speed internet and renovated conference facilities. The Radisson Gateway will undertake a major renovation beginning in June which will include guest rooms, public space and conference rooms.
