L'Auberge de Sedona Deploys Full-featured Daylight ASP |
|
Four Diamond Resort converts to Award Winning Daylight ASP |
"L'Auberge de Sedona is reaping the rewards of having converted to Daylight Software's full-featured Daylight ASP," said John Sagos, the property's Director of Group Sales.
"Daylight ASP levels the playing field between small and large hotel properties and companies," Sagos said. "L'Auberge de Sedona has less than 100 rooms, and Daylight ASP helps us compete directly with larger resort properties equipped with licensed software applications, expensive on-site servers and extensive IT staff."
"The key is to find leading-edge technology with precisely the functionality and customized configurability you need," he said. "We've found exactly that in Daylight ASP. There is not a product on the market today that even comes close to what Daylight ASP offers."
"Feature for feature, Daylight ASP is the exact same solution as its software-based platform Daylight enterprise; it's just delivered differently, and the data is stored on Daylight Software's secured servers," he said. "We really like that Daylight Software didn't take away functionality and configurability in its ASP as our previous application did."
Sagos said Daylight ASP quite simply "is in a class of its own."
"We had a one-dimensional sales and catering ASP and upgraded to a three-dimensional ASP with Daylight," Sagos said, noting L'Auberge de Sedona is the first hotel property that the West Paces Hotel Group manages that has deployed Daylight ASP.
"Our previous application was simplistic, limiting workflow and reporting processes," Sagos said. "Because far fewer features were offered and the application could not be truly customized, we had little choice but to look elsewhere. Daylight ASP is a necessary tool for any hotel or resort in today's extremely competitive environment - no matter the size or type of your facility."
Just as important, Sagos added that Daylight Software's technical support is superior.
"If we have a question, we get right through it with one call," Sagos said. "Daylight Software's personalized and immediate technical support is unsurpassed."
The ASP Model
William Duncan, President and CEO of Daylight Software, said the company's ASP is designed and proven to work effectively for any size or type of hospitality property or company - not just for midmarket, select-service properties.
"Our customers are enjoying the bottom-line benefits delivered by Daylight ASP: Significantly reduced upfront hardware investments; reduced on-going maintenance and support costs; one budgetable, cost-effective fixed monthly fee; easier multi-unit rollout of new software applications; improved property and enterprise-wide software version control; enhanced systems security; and improved productivity and competitiveness," Duncan said.
"With significant advances in hotel software applications being made every day, related investments can be as risky as they can be rewarding for properties and their guests," said Jim Kenney, Daylight Software's Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing. "By tapping the expertise and cost efficiencies of a proven ASP from Daylight, hotel companies and properties can minimize many I.T.-related costs and risks."
Key features of the Daylight enterprise ASP include:
• Easy to Use and Full Featured - Daylight ASP is the full-featured twin sister of Daylight's award-winning Daylight enterprise software-based application. "Sometimes being 'simple' can be a detriment, particularly when the technology does not deliver the full functionality that we require. Full functionality is absolutely necessary to achieve maximum efficiency, productivity and accountability," Sagos said.
• Configurable Implementation - With Daylight ASP, a little more is required and delivered than just a quick download of skeletonized software with brief training tutorials. "Because the only thing that changes is the distribution method, Daylight ASP comes with the same implementation assistance, personalized configurability, and customized training as its non-ASP solutions. While this takes a little more time, the ROI of such hands-on consulting is well worth it," Sagos said.
• Oriented to ROI - With Daylight ASP, the monthly subscriber fee is very competitive yet the functionality is unparalleled. "Daylight ASP delivers unmatched increases in staff efficiency. Now we can access our customer database, function diary, and bookings from any Internet-enabled computer in the world, which means we're more responsive and productive than ever before. Unlimited customized reports and more than 100 bundled reports can be easily and quickly created for our customers and our management team, further enhancing our sales efforts," Sagos said.
