LodgeNet SIGNETURE TV Systems Expected To Reach Over One Million Guests In Support Of Hampton Playland Sweepstakes |
LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ: LNET), the world's largest provider of interactive television and broadband solutions to hotels, is using its LodgeNet Media Management System to help Hampton Inn® and Hampton Inn & Suites® generate national in-room exposure for the Hampton Playland Sweepstakes, running now through August 12.
LodgeNet has launched a Playland promotional spot on the first-up Welcome Channel in Hampton Inns and Hampton Inn & Suites hotels installed with the company's SIGNETURE TV® systems. The spot, presented in a Hampton branded interactive TV environment developed by LodgeNet and Hampton, premiered June 15 and can be seen in more than 51,000 rooms every day during the campaign.
"Our involvement with the Hampton Playcations promotion last year proved the LodgeNet Media Management System was capable of supporting a nationwide, branded seasonal campaign," said Darla J. Schultz, Vice President Marketing for LodgeNet. "This summer, with a distribution of nearly 500 Hampton properties, we estimate our SIGNETURE TV systems could touch as many as 1.2 million of Hampton's most receptive and qualified guests over the course of the campaign."
Billed as "the ultimate prize giveaway", the Hampton Playland Sweepstakes will reward more than 200 lucky winners with prizes including tickets to summer attractions, dinners and gift vouchers as well as free Hampton accommodations. Contestants can register to win at www.hamptoninn.com, where they can also make reservations and take advantage of an interactive event finder informing them of events, festivals and other fun activities for their chosen area of interest.
