Hotel Will Be Arkansas' Largest All-Suite Property
John Q. Hammons today announced his plans to develop a 125,000-square-foot John Q. Hammons Center with a main ballroom of 42,000 square feet that will seat 3,000 and to expand the Embassy Suites Hotel(R) Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, Ark. The hotel's new 152-suite tower will adjoin Hammons Center and will feature a full-service spa on the first floor. The expanded hotel will be Arkansas' largest all-suite property. The hotel is owned by Mr. John Q. Hammons and is managed by Springfield, Mo.-based John Q. Hammons Hotels, LLC.

The Hammons Center and expanded Embassy Suites Hotel tower is slated to open Q3 2006. The property is located in Rogers, Ark., just off Interstate 540, which will be Interstate 49. The hotel is a short distance from several significant business destinations, including the world headquarters of Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods, J.B. Hunt and the University of Arkansas. Serving the cities of Rogers, Lowell, Bentonville, Fayetteville and Springdale, Hammons Center and the hotel are just minutes away from the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport in Bentonville.
