Eric Danziger, Former President and COO of Carlson Hotels Worldwide, Named to Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group Holdings, LLC Board of Directors
Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group, LLC, announced the appointment of Eric Danziger to the company's Board of Directors.
Danziger is currently Chief Executive Officer of Emeryville-based ZipRealty (NASDAQ: ZIPR), a leading full-service residential real estate brokerage firm, operating in 14 major metropolitan areas in ten states. Prior to joining ZipRealty in 2001, Danziger served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Carlson Hotels Worldwide, where he was responsible for the growth and development of all hotel and resorts for three leading hospitality brands - Radisson Hotels Worldwide, Regent International, and Country Inns and Suites. Additionally, during his tenure at Carlson, Danziger introduced two new successful brands into the network - Park Inns and Park Plaza. Before Carlson, Danziger was President and CEO of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and served as President of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, where he directed the rapid growth that culminated in a successful IPO.

The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic businesses. He has also been featured as an expert in media outlets such as CNN, Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal.
