Bill Smith Named President of Noble House Hotels and Resorts |

Seattle, WA - - December 20, 2001 - - Bill Smith has been appointed president of
Noble House Hotels and Resorts, company chairman Pat Colee announced today.
Smith comes to Noble House from world-renowned, ultra-luxury, cruise line, Silversea
Cruises where he held the position of president and COO for the last six and a half
years. Smith joined Silversea in 1995 during its developmental stages and guided
the company on a course of expansion and award-winning success. Under his direction
the exclusive company grew from a two to four-ship fleet, and garnered an unprecedented
six consecutive World's Best Awards from Condé Nast Traveler, including two times
being named the number one travel experience among the world's Top 100.
We are thrilled to have someone so universally well regarded in travel joining our
team. Bill's vision, industry leadership and experience in luxury travel will be
a critical element in the continued expansion and development of Noble House properties,

Smith's more than 20 years experience in the travel industry includes executive positions
at Costa, Commodore, Princess and Sitmar cruise lines. He has also held senior sales
and marketing positions for Eastern and Braniff airlines.
