Marriott's Hotels in New Orleans Among the First to Welcome Back Travelers

  • Marriott Twelve Hotels in the New Orleans Metropolitan Area Now Accepting Reservations for Stays Beginning November 1

    Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) is pleased to announce that 12 of its hotels in the New Orleans metropolitan area are now accepting reservations for arrival dates starting November 1:

    • JW Marriott Hotel located on Canal Street
    • New Orleans Marriott
    • New Orleans Marriott at the Convention Center
    • Renaissance Arts Hotel
    • Courtyard New Orleans -- Convention Center
    • Courtyard New Orleans/Covington -- Mandeville
    • Courtyard New Orleans Downtown Near the French Quarter
    • Courtyard New Orleans -- Metairie
    • Residence Inn New Orleans -- Downtown
    • Residence Inn New Orleans -- Metairie
    • SpringHill Suites New Orleans/Convention Center
    • TownePlace Suites New Orleans/Metairie

    These hotels are currently open to accommodate relief and restoration workers on a space-available basis, but look forward to welcoming all guests on November 1.

    As the city works to resume normal operations, hotels will be providing essential services, including limited housekeeping, core restaurant menus and high-speed internet access.     The following hotels remain temporarily closed from the impact of Hurricane Katrina and are not accepting reservations:

    • Fairfield Inn Kenner -- New Orleans Airport
    • Renaissance Pere Marquette
    • The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans
    • The Ritz-Carlton, Maison Orleans
    • Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa (Point Clear, Ala.)

    Marriott is contacting guests whose reservations may be impacted due to hotel availability and service conditions. Guests who have existing reservations may also call Marriott directly at 1-800-559-9352 for more information or to change their travel plans.
