InterContinental Hotels Group Announces Opening of Mexico's First Staybridge Suites |

InterContinental Hotels Group announced today the opening of Mexico's first Staybridge Suites hotel in Monterrey. |
'The introduction of the Staybridge Suites hotel concept in Mexico underscores our development success in the U.S. and the consistent above-market performance of Staybridge Suites and the extended stay segment overall,' said Robert Radomski, vice president of brand management, Staybridge Suites. 'In the U.S., Staybridge Suites' growth and development is outpacing our segment's average and we are sustaining high customer satisfaction scores.'
Plans for further expansion of Staybridge Suites outside the U.S. include developments in Puebla, Mexico; Canada and the United Kingdom.
Guests at the Staybridge Suites Monterrey-San Pedro can choose from two suite options (one-bedroom and two-bedroom). All suites feature fully equipped kitchens, in-room DVD/CD players, functional, well-lit work stations with ergonomic seating, data ports, two-line speaker phone with voicemail and direct dial access and high-speed internet access is also available at no charge.
The newly renovated hotel offers several unique amenities such as complimentary guest laundry and workout facilities, outdoor pool, same day laundry and valet, free parking, deluxe complimentary daily breakfast buffet, which features a rotating selection of hot items, a 24-hour convenience store and a 24-hour business services center. In addition, guests will enjoy gathering in the hotel's Great Room for evening "Sundowner' receptions three days a week for refreshments, light appetizers and conversation.
The hotel is located in Monterrey's most exclusive business and financial district known as Del Valle of San Pedro Garza Garcia. Several key businesses are close by, such as American Express and General Electric. The popular shopping area known as Centrito Valle is just minutes from the hotel while Plaza Sesamo Park and Museo del Vidrio are just a short drive from the hotel.
