Barcelo Hotels & Resorts announces its two new five-star all-inclusive luxury Riviera Maya Hotels will celebrate their grand opening as scheduled on December 23rd. "The Barcelo Riviera Maya Resort is operating at full service having escaped any major weather damage this summer. Our beaches are pristine, our hotels are beautiful, and our staff is looking forward to welcoming winter travelers escaping cold weather for the beautiful tropical climate of the Riviera Maya," added Serrano.
The new Barcelo Maya Colonial Beach and The Barcelo Maya Tropical Beach Hotels join the popular Barcelo Maya Beach and the Barcelo Maya Caribe Beach Hotels to create one of the area's most beautiful and comprehensive all- inclusive resort destination properties. The Barcelo Maya Colonial Beach and the Barcelo Maya Tropical Beach are adjacent to the two existing Barcelo Hotels, and enjoy more than one mile of private white sand beach overlooking the crystalline turquoise Caribbean waters and a protected coral reef.
The new luxury Hotels offer one of the most activity oriented all- inclusive programs in Mexico. In addition to full meal service in a selection of gourmet restaurants, house cocktails in a wide array of lounges, and complimentary mini-bar refreshments, guests can enjoy water sports and activities including a complimentary scuba diving lesson; use of the fitness center; unlimited tennis and court games; horseback riding, miniature golf and a driving range (a nine-hole golf course is less than two miles from the resort). The new hotels also offer a state-of-the-art spa in which relaxing spa services and treatments are available to guests for a minimal charge. For nightly entertainment there is a new spectacular theater that is home to a live orchestra, and dance and musical extravaganzas.
