Acclaimed boutique hotel, The Water Club in Puerto Rico, has officially changed its name to San Juan Water & Beach Club Hotel. Distinguished as San Juan's only luxury beachfront boutique property, the stylish hotel is embracing its chic ethnic flair and paying homage to its pristine San Juan setting.

"It is important to distinguish our serene beachfront location in the heart of San Juan to encourage tourists and locals to enjoy our happening rooftop bar, Wet, and renowned restaurant, Tangerine," explains Doug Carrillo, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Tecton Hospitality, which manages the property.

Prior to the name change, many people perceived The Water Club as simply a members-only establishment, unavailable to outsiders. Now visitors will be able to distinguish the intentions of the property and enjoy the refreshing ambience and new beach treats, which include beach butler service, afternoon sorbet, and indulgent beachfront massages.

The enhanced name also emphasizes San Juan Water & Beach Club Hotel's latest amenities including newly renovated bathrooms featuring bath and spa products from H2O Plus sea-derived skin care as well as clock radios with MP3 player connections and Wifi access.

The San Juan Water & Beach Club Hotel boasts sleek decor, an indoor waterfall and a unique guest recognition program, "Your Desires," which launched in 2004. Prior to arrival, guests may request customized room amenities like music, snacks, reading materials, drinks, specific room location and pre-arranged activities. Additionally, each room is equipped with a "Desires" board where guests may write their daily desires for staff members to fulfill.

The San Juan Water & Beach Club Hotel is owned by Joaquin Bolivar II and is managed by Desires, the boutique division of Tecton Hospitality.

Logos, product and company names mentioned are the property of their respective owners.
