La Quinta hotels has appointed Robert M. Harshbarger as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer reporting to Wayne Goldberg, La Quinta's President and Chief Executive Officer. He will oversee La Quinta's accounting, treasury, finance, tax and risk management departments.
Mr. Harshbarger is a graduate of Franklin University, Columbus, OH. With more than 25-years of financial experience in the lodging industry, Harshbarger most recently served as Senior Vice President and Controller for Accor Economy Lodging where he was responsible for all accounting functions for multi-brand economy motels. Prior to joining Accor, he spent more than 20-years in roles of increasing responsibility with Red Roof Inns, Inc. including Chief Accounting Officer, Senior Vice President, Controller and Vice President of Financial Planning and Reporting.
