Thanksgiving: Traveling Grandparents Get Free Night at Candlewood Suites |
|
|
WICHITA, Kan., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Candlewood Suites says thanks to grandparents this Thanksgiving with a free night's stay. To qualify for the Grandparents Stay Free program, grandparents simply need to pay for a night's lodging before or after Thanksgiving -- and show a photo of their grandchild at check-in.
Free-night stays also apply to Christmas. And the program has been extended for another year, offering grandparents a free night on 10 major holidays when they pay for a night before or after the holiday. For 2002, the holidays include New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. A first-time stay with Candlewood Suites -- anytime -- counts as yet another holiday, as does National Grandparents Day.
Candlewood Hotel Co. (Nasdaq: CNDL) owns, operates and licenses Candlewood Suites; and operates and licenses Cambridge Suites. Both concepts serve travelers on short- or long-term stays, with such amenities as complete kitchens; the Candlewood Cupboard, a 24-hour, honor-based food and sundries pantry; free local calls; and free laundry facilities.
Travelers should call 1-888-CANDLEWOOD (1-888-226-3539) for reservations or book online through Candlewood's fastest reservations in the world at http://www.candlewoodsuites.com . There are 100 Candlewood Suites open coast-to-coast.
