Europe's first seven-star hotel is due to open in Milan later this year, as developers and designers scramble to feed a booming super-luxury market.
Town House Galleria in glitzy Galleria Vittoria Emanuele, an elegant shopping arcade between La Scala opera house and Milan's cathedral, will have less than 30 suites and an army of butlers, drivers and nannies to look after guests.
Owned by the Italian Town House group that already runs several small hotels in Milan and Turin, it will be the world's second hotel in the seven-star category, along with Dubai's sail-shaped Burj Al Arab tower.
