In two weeks, Daniele Puleo of Daniele Osteria in Dallas will take his place among celebrity chefs like Emeril and Thomas Keller who've become guest chefs at renowned wineries and hotels.
Held in high esteem among foodies in Dallas, Chef Puleo will collaborate with Azul Beach Hotel and El Dorado Royale Spa Resort in Mexico from Sunday, August 6 through Saturday, August 12, 2006. As part of its Gourmet Inclusive philosophy, each property will present Chef Puleo's culinary program free to their guests. The programs consist of a six-course dinner, wine pairing, outdoor lunch and cooking class.
'One of our properties was voted one of the 10 Most Romantic Hotels in 2006 by Forbes and Daniele Osteria was also named to that list as one of the 10 Most Romantic Restaurants-hence the collaboration,' said Jeroen Hanlo, Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations for Karisma Hotels, which manages Azul Beach and El Dorado Royale.
Mexico is the No. 1 summer destination for Texans, and the Riviera Maya is the hottest new region to visit. El Dorado Royale is an adults-only resort on 450 acres: a full-service spa, swim-up suites, oceanfront Casitas and eight signature restaurants. At 96 rooms, Azul Beach is a boutique property that encourages an intimate experience and welcomes families. Each room is just a quick stroll from the beach, the pools, the restaurants and the bars. Both Chef Puleo and Hanlo constantly strive to bring gourmet dining experiences to their clients in new and exciting ways. This collaboration introduces hotel guests to Chef Puleo's inventive cuisine and Texans to an incredible Gourmet-Inclusive experience at Azul Beach and El Dorado Royale. For guests and chefs alike, the experience promises to be a meeting of the palates.
