  • Hotel News Resource Frequent travelers can store toothpaste, other toiletry items
at the hotel to avoid airport security hassles

In response to heightened airport security measures, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX and Hotel Valencia Santana Row in San Jose, CA are making traveling a little easier for frequent flyers.

New airport security rules now prohibit passengers from taking liquids, gels and aerosols on board with them, creating an additional burden for business travelers who need their shampoos, lotions and shaving gels. To help guests cope with the restrictions, Hotel Valencia announces its new Stuff Storage service, which allows the hotel's VIP members to keep a supply of toiletry items at the hotel.

Starting in September, participants will receive a custom-designed neoprene toiletry bag to hold their liquid, gel and aerosol products, as well as other small personal items that are currently restricted onboard commercial aircraft. The bags will be tagged with the guest's name and Valencia VIP number for convenient pick-up and drop-off during each visit, and will remain securely stored at the hotel between stays.
