Hilton Garden Inn Opens Sarasota/Bradenton Property |

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Dec. 13, 2001 -- Hilton Hotels Corporation announced today the opening of the 115-room Hilton Garden Inn® Sarasota-Bradenton Airport, in Sarasota, Fla., representing another addition to its growing roster of more than 125 Hilton Garden Inn hotels across North America.
Allen Investments, Inc. owns and manages the newly constructed Hilton Garden Inn Sarasota-Bradenton Airport, operated under a license agreement with Hilton Inns, Inc., the franchising subsidiary of Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corporation.
“Hilton Garden Inn hotels are targeting growing suburban business and leisure areas of Florida that have a need for an upscale hotel product that meets the demands of the business and leisure traveler,” said Adrian Kurre, senior vice president – brand management, Hilton Garden Inn. “Across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, Hilton Garden Inn hotels are quickly becoming the leader in providing comfort, convenience and individualized attention at an affordable price.”
A four-story structure, the Hilton Garden Inn Sarasota-Bradenton Airport features: a signature glass-walled pavilion housing the reception desk; a Pavilion Pantry with a selection of refrigerated, frozen and microwaveable packaged items, and sundries; the Great American Grill restaurant, offering freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, dinner with room service during dinner hours; a comfortable lounge area with a fireplace and television; three meeting rooms with 1,850 square feet of flexible meeting space; a 24-hour complimentary business center; and an on-site guest laundry facility.
