The downtown Fort Wayne Hilton and several restaurants are offering an option to people looking to have a good time in downtown Fort Wayne without the worry of driving drunk.

Robert Evans, general manager of the Hilton, announced Thursday the 'Stay Safe ... Stay With Us' program, which allows downtown restaurants to offer discounted hotel rooms along with a meal.

'We encourage and promote responsible drinking,' Evans said.

The restaurants taking part in the program are the Oyster Bar, Paula's, Park Place, Club Soda, Hall's, Summit Club and Henry's, but all downtown restaurants were encouraged to take part in the program.
