Marriott International's (NYSE:MAR) global sales team won the first ever Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards' Stevie Award for the Global Sales Team of the Year.

The Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards are a new awards program produced by Selling Power magazine in conjunction with the Stevie Awards. The mission of these awards is to recognize the accomplishments of sales professionals worldwide. The Stevie Awards were called the "Oscar Awards" of the business world by the New York Post in 2005. They were created to recognize and generate awareness of excellence in the workplace.
Selling Power magazine is the leading publication read by over 162,000 sales decision makers in the U.S. and 67 countries worldwide.
