Best Western International Promotes Renee Ryan To Vice President Of Marketing
Best Western International announced that Renee Ryan has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Marketing. In her new position, Ryan will direct the execution and delivery of brand marketing strategies, including Gold Crown Club International (GCCI) and the Best Western Travel Card, while continuing to oversee Field Marketing and Consumer Marketing programs and initiatives.
Ryan brings more than 20 years of marketing experience to the position, which includes serving in similar marketing positions at other leading organizations. She most recently served as Managing Director of Field Marketing, Internal Communications, and Consumer Marketing at Best Western where she also oversaw the company's partnerships with NASCAR and AAA. Ryan joined the company in 2005 as Director of Field Marketing.
"Throughout her tenure, Renee has demonstrated a thorough understanding of Best Western's marketing objectives, along with strong leadership skills that are key to the success of our marketing efforts and initiatives," said Dorothy Dowling, Senior Vice President of Marketing. "In her new role, she will also focus on finding new methods to elevate media exposure for our marketing programs as a whole."
Previously, Ryan was Director of Marketing and Sales of Parks and Resorts for ARAMARK, a leading managed services provider based in Philadelphia. While at ARAMARK, she was responsible for marketing, sales, central reservations and revenue management for the company's national parks portfolio. During her tenure, she launched a "trigger-based" Customer Relationship Management program as well as the Loyalty Program.
Prior to her work with ARAMARK, Ryan served as a consultant for various service related firms including Salt River Project and the Center for Services Leadership at Arizona State University, where she participated in the planning and delivery of executive education programs around services marketing and customer service.
