Hotel Brokers International Installs 2007 Board Officers and Directors

  • Hotel Brokers International Charles Fritsch Inducted as Board President

    Hotel Brokers International (HBI), the nation's largest brokerage organization with more than 30 offices coast to coast, swore in their newly elected 2007 board officers and directors at their recent annual meeting. Charles Fritsch, CHB, of MBA Hotel Brokers will succeed Teague Hunter, CHB, of Hunter Realty Associates, Inc. as the board president. HBI, a membership organization, elects a new board each year.

    'The 2007 board members are also some of our top-performing sales specialists and represent some of our most successful firms,' said Noah L. Canfield, CHB, long-time HBI member and past president of the organization. 'They all received awards for their exceptional work in 2006, in addition to guiding their individual firms to record profits. These people are at the top of their class-they are very good at what they do, and they understand this industry. We have no doubt they will lead us to a very profitable 2007.'

    The new officers and directors also received numerous awards for their record 2006 sales performance. Past President and 2007 Director Teague Hunter was awarded Salesperson of the Year, for sales totaling nearly $65 million. Board Officers Niehaus and Westgor were recognized for co-brokering the largest single hotel sale of 2006, and Niehaus also received the Unique Deal of the Year award. Niehaus, Westgor and new director Jennifer Church were all recognized as the top sales performers in their respective regions.
