New Agenda for Multiunit Lodging Operators & Owners Forum |
|
|
New York City (November 21, 2000) - AHMA - The American Hotel & Motel Association (AH&MA) Multiunit Lodging Operators & Owners Forum will be held March 4-6, 2001 at The Brown Palace hotel in Denver, Colo. In previous years, the event had been held immediately following AH&MA's Legislative Action Summit in Washington, D.C. The summit's new venue allows it to separate itself from the government-related event and better suits the needs of the ownership constituency in attendance.
This two-day event is geared exclusively to senior executives of multiunit owners-operators and management companies. Topics to be discussed will address the unique concerns of this audience, include e-commerce, ethics, raising equity, and sales technology and productivity. There will also be a panel of leaders in multiunit management.
The forum's new chairman, Gary Williams, president, Coakley & Williams Hotel Management company, will welcome speakers such as Roger Cline, director; hospitality consulting services, Arthur Andersen; Sean Hennessey, director, Pricewaterhousecoopers; and John Davis, president and CEO, Pegasus Systems, Inc.; as well as representatives from MMI Hotel Management Group and AGC Management company.
The Multiunit Forum is created and designed to meet the exclusive needs of multiunit owners and operators of hotels, said Williams. It also gives hoteliers an opportunity to develop lasting relationships with colleagues who may be dealing with the same, unique issues.
The Multiunit Lodging Operators & Owners Forum registration rate is $350. The Brown palace is extending a special room rate of $165 if booked by February 9.
For more information about the forum, contact Ken Walsh, AH&MA director of meetings and conventions, at (202) 289-3117 or send an e-mail to kwalsh@ahma.com.
