needs while expanding on the company's mission of A Perfect Stay ... Every
Time, Atlanta-based Jameson Hospitality, LLC (Nasdaq: JAMS), operator of
Jameson and Signature Inn hotels, announced today it has partnered with
Lexington Services, a subsidiary of Travel Services International, Inc., to
provide Internet users and travel agents reservation access to Jameson Inn
hotels via the four major global distribution systems and on additional
Internet travel portals.
We are excited about this new relationship because it will make booking
Jameson Inn rooms for over 650,000 travel agents easier, stated Rod Collins,
Director of Sales and Marketing. In addition to having access to the GDS
systems such as Amadeus, Worldspan, Sabre and Apollo available to travel
agents, Jameson will also now be linked to additional major travel web sites
like, Travelweb and Travelocity for on-line consumer reservations.
The new Jameson Hospitality deal will expand on an existing relationship
Lexington has with Signature Inns that has generated over 50,405 room nights
year to date.
Effective immediately, 88 Jameson Inn hotels are on the system and others
will follow as we strategically schedule them based on travel agent demand,
continued Collins. We fully expect that with the addition of this service,
occupancy should continue to grow. We have generated $375,887 in GDS
reservations already in just a few months on the system.
Jameson Hospitality, LLC operates the Jameson Inn and Signature Inn
brands. Jameson Inns are colonial-style, limited service hotel properties in
the Southeast.
Signature Inns are larger, limited service hotel properties primarily in
the Midwest. There are currently 125 operating inns with over 7,700 rooms and
eight new Jameson Inns under construction.
