November 30, 2000 -- HVS International -- AC Hoteles, the Spanish hotel company, is planning its European expansion with the support of its two financial partners; Banco Santander Central Hispano (BSCH) and 3i, the UK venture capital group.
Ac Hoteles currently has 11 hotels operating in Spain and a further 45 hotels under development, all of which are due to open by 2003.
Furthermore, AC Hoteles has announced its first international hotel project, with the 140-bedroom AC Hotel Lisbon expected to open in 2001. AC Hoteles' current brands include Grand Class and AC Hotel, with plans to develop two further brands AC Golf and AC Basic, a limited service brand.
