NCL/National Content Liquidators, Inc. completes another major Florida hotel liquidation

  • NCL/National Content Liquidators National Content Liquidators, Inc. (NCL), a leading liquidation management company, recently completed the liquidation of the 645 room Sheraton Bal Harbour Beach Resort.

    Thousands of people attended the 50 day sale, taking one last opportunity to visit the landmark hotel prior to its demolition.

    The hotel was designed by Morris Lapidus and built by the Tisch family in the late 1950s and was once one of the most glamorous resorts in South Florida. First known as the Americana hotel, it was renamed the Sheraton Bal Harbour in 1980.

    Starwood Hotels and Resorts contracted with NCL to conduct the liquidation sale which included the complete contents of the hotel. The Sheraton will be demolished and the property redeveloped as the St. Regis Resort & Residences, a Starwood Luxury Collection property

    NCL has remarketed the contents of more than 800 hotels and resorts in the continental U.S. and offshore, successfully completing over 300,000 guestrooms ranging in size from 100 to 2,000 room properties.
