Langham Hotels Intl. Announces Second Location in Beijing

Langham Hotels International (LHI) announces the signing of a new management contract for its second hotel in Beijing - Langham Place Beijing Capital Airport Hotel, scheduled to open in mid 2008, prior to the Summer Olympic Games. The five-star Langham Place hotel promises a revolutionary luxury airport hotel experience for world travelers and business guests.

The new Langham Place Hotel will open its doors in 2008 to meet the market's robust demand for luxury hotels and beyond. As the political, cultural and economic capital of China, Beijing has long been a magnet for business and leisure travelers. The Summer Olympics - scheduled to run August 8-24, 2008 - will further enhance the appeal of Beijing's tourism, heating up the city's hotel industry with a significant surge of visitors.
