Fairmont Promotes Mark Sergot to Vice President, Global Sales

  • Fairmont With an extensive presence in North America and growing pipeline of international developments, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has appointed Mark Sergot as vice president, global sales. Assuming this newly fashioned role, based in Fairmont's corporate headquarters, Sergot most recently served as the company's regional director, sales & marketing, U.S. Central Region.

    In his new role, Sergot will be responsible for the strategic direction, deployment, and productivity of Fairmont's world-class global sales organization, as well as overseeing all segment strategies and support initiatives for the brand.

    With extensive hospitality background, Sergot brings nearly 20 years of hotel and sales related experience to his new capacity. Over the course of his career, Sergot has held a variety of management level roles with groups such as Hilton Hotels and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. In 2002, he joined Fairmont as director, group sales for The Fairmont Chicago and was subsequently appointed the property's director, sales & marketing.

    Sergot holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Illinois State University.
