UNIK Resorts to Open Its Flagship Hotel in Isla Mujeres in April 2008 |
|
UNIK Resorts today announces it will open its flagship hotel on April 15, 2008 on Isla Mujeres, an island just 25 minutes off the coast of Cancun, Mexico. |
A total of 84 sleek and modern guest rooms and suites boast every amenity including flat screen televisions, CD/DVD players, iPod decks, Wi-Fi, 400 count bed linens, laptop-sized safes, stocked mini-bars, bath amenities by Pascal Morabito, candles, plush bathrobes and slippers, aromatherapy at turndown and an array of other services that keep UNIK's accommodations several steps above the others.
The UNIK dining experience is characterized by the creative talents of the executive chef and the resident Sommelier. Six restaurants and bars bring Mexican, Asian, and Continental cuisine to life: Pearl, a contemporary dining experience, Breeze, just steps from the pool with a casual setting open for lunch and dinner, Jade, for Pan Asian specialties for dinner, La Isla Grill & Lounge, living up to its name for lunchtime by the pool, the Turquoise Lounge, the setting for high tea in the afternoon and cigars and drinks in the evenings, and the Aqua Pool Bar, for swim up libations.
Guests will indulge in the resort's thoughtfully created pool area, built on four different levels following the lay of the land. Each pool offers a different experience, and each flows into the next in a soothing cascade of blue water. Below the hotel, a private strip of white-sand beach awaits sun worshipers. After a day of Mexican sun, therapists at the Spa Izel soothe tired muscles and rejuvenate spirits with a mixture of Mayan treatments and modern techniques.
Upon arrival at the Cancun International Airport guests are whisked away via hotel-arranged car service to UNIK's Dockside Registration/Reception area, where they are greeted with refreshing beverages and appetizers before boarding the complimentary, private boat service that will take them directly to the resort's pier. The 25-minute boat ride offers views of the white sand beaches of Cancun as guests glide across the Caribbean Sea.
