Tom Netting Named Managing Director of New Grand Hyatt San Antonio

Veteran Hyatt Corporation executive Tom Netting has been named managing director of the new Grand Hyatt San Antonio, which will open in February 2008.

Netting comes to the Alamo City from the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, California, where he was managing director since 2004. His distinguished career with the Hyatt Corporation spans three decades, in which he worked his way up from a member of the housekeeping staff to senior level positions in the United States and the Caribbean.

The property joins the long-established Hyatt Regency San Antonio, the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa and other Hyatt properties serving the San Antonio area. With over 600,000 room nights booked and 300,000 more pending, Grand Hyatt San Antonio has the most successful pre-opening sales results of any Hyatt to date.'

Netting says the new Grand Hyatt San Antonio will be an important component in the city's future growth as a visitor destination.
