InterContinental Hotels Group Partners with Cornell Center for Hospitality Research

  • Cornell Center For Hospitality Research Global hotel operator InterContinental Hotels Group has joined Cornell's Center for Hospitality Research as a partner. InterContinental's president of Europe, Middle East and Africa, Kirk Kinsell, a Cornell alumnus, will participate on the center's Advisory Board. Kinsell will share his expertise with researchers, industry leaders and students, as well as at the center's Roundtables.

    'InterContinental is responsible for more than 3,800 properties around the world,' said Eva Ferguson, president of IAHI, the InterContinental owner's association. 'We see the center's research as having global impact that improves hotel operations for the global industry, and we are pleased to be part of this important research effort. In particular, we propose to focus on issues of corporate responsibility as part of the research agenda and the educational experience.'
