Dave Akins, Corporate Director of Resort Operations, greeted the attending local dignitaries and presented Jerri Chong, Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii, with a check for $1,000 and a promise of ongoing support in 2002. The event also included a traditional blessing and tours of the facility grounds and condominium units.
Jeff Caminos, a veteran hotelier with 25 years of progressive management experience in the hospitality industry, joined Trendwest Resorts as general manager to oversee operations at this latest property.
