Kenneth W.K. Kan joins Outrigger as Senior Hospitality Investment Analyst |

Mel Kaneshige, Executive Vice President of Real Estate and Development for Outrigger Enterprises Group, has announced the appointment of Kenneth W.K. Kan to the newly created position of Senior Hospitality Investment Analyst. |
In his new position, Mr. Kan is responsible for preparing and analyzing information and presenting recommendations in connection with potential hotel management agreements, acquisitions and/or developments in the United States and Asia.
Mr. Kan joins Outrigger from his most recent position as Vice-President for Grove International Partners, based in New York.
'We are pleased to have Kenny join the Outrigger development team,' said Kaneshige. 'Kenny brings over a decade of experience working in various capacities for investment firms on the mainland and in Japan. This expertise will serve our company well as we continue to explore new hotel opportunities here in Hawaii and throughout the Asia-Pacific region,' said Kaneshige.
Prior to Grove International Partners, Mr. Kan spent over 10 years working in Japan, first as Manager for Tokyo-Kojimachi International Accounting Firm (TKF), Portfolio Manager for Goldman Sachs Realty, Tokyo and as Director of Portfolio Management for the Ishin Hotels Group in Tokyo.
Mr. Kan, who speaks both Japanese and conversational Chinese (Cantonese), is a graduate of the University of Hawaii where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance. He recently completed his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
