Airline's on-time performance continues to be among the best in the industry
Copa Airlines, subsidiary of Copa Holdings, S.A. (NYSE:CPA) , today reported an on-time performance of 89.3 percent and a flight completion factor of 99.7 percent for second quarter 2008.
"Copa's passengers have come to expect industry-leading on-time performance and once again we are pleased to be among the best in the industry in this regard," said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines.
The airline measures on-time performance according to international standards established for the industry.
Copa Airlines is one of the leading airlines in Latin America. Copa currently offers approximately 126 daily scheduled flights to 42 destinations in 22 countries in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
