Phil Keipper Promoted to Senior Vice President, Architecture and Construction - The Americas, Habib Enayetullah Joins as Senior Vice President, Real Estate and Asset Management
Hilton Hotels Corporation ('Hilton') announced today that Matthew Richardson has been named global head of architecture, design and construction, effective immediately. In this capacity, Richardson will oversee the company's worldwide efforts with respect to new build projects, capital improvement, technical advisory services, interior design and construction for owned and managed as well as franchised properties. He joins Hilton from Host Hotels and Resorts where he served as senior vice president and chief development officer, overseeing all of the company's design and construction activities.
Committed to establishing a highly aggressive global development and real estate leadership team, the company also announced that Philip Keipper has been promoted to senior vice president, architecture and construction - the Americas. In this position, Keipper will have responsibility for the oversight of all new build projects, inclusive of franchise properties, and capital projects for the Americas.
In addition, Habib Enayetullah has joined Hilton as senior vice president, real estate and asset management. In this new position, he will focus on the company's asset and real estate holdings, ensuring the ongoing value and viability of these assets.

About Matthew Richardson
Richardson initially began his career in real estate in 1985 after receiving both Bachelors of Urban Planning and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining Host Hotels and Resorts in 1997, he held various positions with CarrAmerica Realty Corporation. As global head of architecture, design and construction, Richardson will report directly to Goldman.
About Phil Keipper
Keipper is a 24-year veteran of Hilton who began his career with the company working in franchise project management in Atlanta. In 1995, Keipper led the design team that launched the Hilton Garden Inn brand in the United States and he was promoted to vice president the following year. Since that time, he has led the franchise design and construction team that has supported the considerable growth of Hilton's franchise pipeline in the United States, Canada and Latin America. As senior vice president, architecture and construction - the Americas, Keipper will report to Richardson.
About Habib Enayetullah
Enayetullah brings a wealth of experience to his role having served most recently as senior vice president - development for Sunstone Hotel Investors and previously as vice president of global asset management for Hyatt Corporation, as well as in various development roles for the Bechtel Group. At Hyatt, he acted as asset manager for the company's global portfolio of hotel real estate investments valued in excess of US $3 billion. As senior vice president, real estate and asset management, Enayetullah also will report directly to Goldman.
